  • Career Planning Course
Career planning is the process in which an individual dialectically analyzes the subjective and objective factors affecting self-development, thereby determining short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals for future career and professional development, and making scientific predictions and arrangements to achieve these goals. Our school's Academic and Career Development Center, based on the educational philosophy of "Discovering Myself at Yinghua," is committed to helping each student realize their life growth process from career awakening to self-awareness and self-discovery through three dimensions: academic planning, career planning, and life planning, laying the foundation for students' lifelong happiness.

    • The "National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan Outline" (2010-2020) clearly states: "Encourage qualified general high schools to appropriately increase vocational education content as needed." "Adopt various methods to provide vocational education for current students and graduates who have not pursued further studies." The "Implementation Opinions of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of the Examination and Enrollment System" propose: "By 2020, basically establish a modern education examination and enrollment system with Chinese characteristics, forming an examination and enrollment model of classified exams, comprehensive evaluation, and diversified admissions." How to enable students to "know how to choose," "be able to choose," and "be willing to choose," transforming from "passive choice" to "active choice"? How to guide students to select subjects and academic paths based on their interests and strengths to successfully cope with further education? Career planning education is considered the most "reliable" way to address the urgent issue of "implementing students' right to choose." Therefore, helping students understand their interests, strengths, and future career directions, and cultivating students' ability to choose as the core of career education, has become a necessary course and service to provide.
    • 1. Cultivate autonomous career exploration abilities, enabling students to learn to make choices and grow into mature members of society, laying a solid foundation for self-realization. 2. Strengthen awareness of career planning and understand related career concepts. 3. Help students objectively understand their dreams, personality, interests, abilities, values, etc., forming a positive self-concept. 4. Explore majors, disciplines, and universities related to their preferred careers, understand the relationship between high school subjects and university majors, and enhance their motivation to learn. 5. Based on exploration results, make reasonable career decisions, set specific goals and plans, and adjust and improve their career plans according to changing circumstances.
    • 1. Emphasize students' autonomous exploration ability Career education should not be limited to the basic education stage; it should extend beyond graduation, middle age, and old age, possessing a lifelong exploratory nature. When students leave school and enter society, they will face drastic social changes and intense competition, as well as many uncertainties in the career development process. Therefore, students need to master autonomous exploration ability during their school years to cope with changes in the times and the professional world. The curriculum emphasizes stimulating students' intrinsic motivation and stresses "teaching a man to fish." 2. Encourage students' active participation and experience The goal of career education should not remain at the knowledge level; ultimately, it is to enable students to master the ability to choose and plan their own careers. Therefore, career planning education should not continue the previous indoctrination-style teaching methods but should encourage students to actively participate in exploratory activities, further understand their own characteristics and needs, and improve their ability to identify and solve problems. 3. Strive to cultivate students' innovation ability The development of science and technology will bring tremendous changes to the future professional world. While many professions face extinction, numerous emerging professions will appear. Therefore, in exploring the professional world, students are encouraged to broaden their horizons, dare to break traditional mindsets and habits, view career planning with a developmental perspective, and cultivate innovation awareness and innovation ability. 4. Improve students' collaboration ability Collaboration ability is one of the core competencies for adapting to future social development. Through teamwork in career exploration activities, students can better understand and get to know others, develop attitudes of respect and care for others, and experience the value brought by teamwork in problem-solving processes.

    • Mental health education is not only an important part of quality education but also a necessity for cultivating innovative talents and promoting the healthy growth and harmonious development of primary and secondary school students. Implementing school mental health education is a crucial measure to build a harmonious campus and promote harmonious development between teachers and students. The Ministry of Education issued the "Guidelines for Mental Health Education in Primary and Secondary Schools (2012 Revision)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Guidelines"), which clarified the guiding ideology for carrying out mental health education in primary and secondary schools in China and provided methodological guidance for this work. Primary and secondary school students are at a critical stage of physical and mental development. With physiological and psychological growth, expanded social experience, and changes in thinking patterns, especially when facing social competition pressures, they encounter various psychological difficulties or problems in learning, life, self-awareness, emotional adjustment, interpersonal communication, and further education or employment. Therefore, carrying out mental health education in primary and secondary schools is necessary for the healthy physical and mental growth of students and an inevitable requirement for comprehensively advancing quality education. To promote the scientific, standardized, and effective implementation of mental health work, our school's Academic and Career Development Center has set up corresponding courses to practice and implement mental health education.
    • Goals Enhance the psychological quality of all students, cultivate their positive, optimistic, and healthy psychological traits, fully develop their psychological potential, promote harmonious and sustainable physical and mental development, and lay a foundation for their healthy growth and happy life. Specific Objectives 1. Enable students to understand what mental health is and recognize unhealthy psychological states. 2. Teach students to study and live properly, correctly understand themselves, improve their autonomy, self-help, and self-education abilities, strengthen their capacity to regulate emotions, endure setbacks, and adapt to the environment, and cultivate sound personality and good individual psychological qualities. 3. Develop students' psychological potential, improve their mental health level, promote the formation of healthy psychological qualities, reduce and avoid the impact of various adverse factors on students' mental health, and cultivate well-rounded talents with physical and mental health, social responsibility, innovative spirit, and practical ability.
    • Design specific educational content based on the physical and mental development characteristics of students at different age stages. Through group psychological counseling, psychological games, campus psychological dramas, lectures, and other methods, conduct experiential learning to help students improve their overall psychological quality through emotional experience and simulated practice. These methods help students establish a correct self-awareness, set life ideals and beliefs, and form a correct worldview, outlook on life, and values; develop learning potential, improve learning efficiency, actively cope with exam pressure, and overcome exam anxiety; correctly understand their interpersonal relationships, cultivate interpersonal communication skills, and promote positive emotional responses and experiences among people; assist students in further enhancing their ability to endure failure and cope with setbacks, forming good willpower qualities.
